my dad picked me up from home (my parents had gone out earlier to do stuff) and we headed off for lunch in hougang mall. i was in the passenger seat. and then it struck me. i used to complain about his driving skills/technique. do i behave the same? i'm kind of hoping i'm not as bad. given that his age is catching up on him, his hand-eye coordination skill slowly fading, it's not surprising he can make me seasick in the car (at young age...) but now it's my turn. i've always tried to drive as smooth as possible without much (unintentional) jerks, be it while accelerating or braking. i just want the vehicle to travel as fluid as possible. and a more pleasant ride for my passenger(s) which of course would make me happy (ok lah so most of the time it's only ONE passenger lah hor ;) xD hehe...)
unless i chut pattern purposely on the road, i don't recall being too /violent/ behind the wheel. but then again i can't tell because i'm me. might a third person perspective can give me better insight to how i behave on the road. surely it isn't too bad i hope? :(
an outrageous thing happened today too! but not to me. shan had her mobile phone stolen from right under her nose! some kim-moh ah beng with yellow shades stole it on pretext of borrowing the shop phone to use. @#$% lai we all swear him. i presume these petty theft criminals aren't very clueful and i'll bet he stays within a 50km radius. and with his dumb dyed hair he can't be that difficult to identify. especially if he even dared to take the trains or go to the nearest bus terminal (aka tampines) these people are so silly... or i could be lenient enough and only curse that he gets trapped in an elevator while he was trying to steal some old auntie's bra from the corridor. so the people who come to his rescue will find in his possession some very unmanly lingerie and shan's hp too! xD
*happy anni =x*
