@EeElain in your case likely need to partition (formatting comes after that). data will be gone, so best backup elsewhere first.

@EeElain only Mac can read HFS+, only PC can read NTFS. Mac & PC can read FAT32 but NTFS > FAT32. then consider NTFS + FUSE on your mac ba.

@EeElain 1) format as NTFS and use FUSE on mac, or 2) format 3 partitions: HFS+ for mac, NTFS for win, FAT32 for transferring between.
