a very belated v-day post

I took the pics just one day before v-day... the ring and rabbid plushies are meant for rachie of course!

The ring took me a couple of days to conceptualise, prototype and basically produce a completed ring. It's meant to be a simple silver ring with a brilliant cut diamond on it. I'd bought unique paper especially for the final product. The silver ring is of a shiny silver 120mg paper and the ring is a white paper also of 120mg. Our typical A4 paper are around 80mg, so you do the math. The diamond was glued on to the ring by creating a shallow recessed basin in the ring, and flooding it with glue (I use wood glue throughout) and then sticking the diamond in and leave it to dry up overnight, just to make sure it stays put.
