oh, and did i mention that my colleague is currently on holiday in thailand? she's away for her hen party before her wedding day. and she's going to be back only on tuesday next week. this was just the first day she wasn't around and already i was helping to clear some of her stuff in her absence. my main deadline better be completed asap. i hope. >_> isn't it typical? you get your core set of tasks to work on, and other people start piling up your work by giving you ad-hoc requests and sometimes due to the glitches in the system (there's _always_ a glitch somewhere) things have to be investigated to find out why things are the way they are.

anyway, to keep my mind off work at home, i can't believe rach and i are currently catching the last episodes of the Dae Jang Geum series on VCD. >_> one reason i mostly don't like to watch long-drawn series, or even RPG games with long storylines. i know, but prefer not, that i'd probably get addicted or drawn into the series/game and by doing so i might use up more of my time on such activities than other things. call me anal, but i always think that my time can be put to better use if i'm lazing away. the sense of utter guilt of inefficiency. yes, indeed. i don't like to feel inefficient. am i starting to sound like a machine? hope not. i probably have an OCD of sorts. that's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for those not in the know. it's not a good thing usually, but it's definitely not as extreme as the X-men situations. xD
