my wonderful saturday...

so i was a bit too bushed from saturday to blog properly. it had been a really shiok experience. in one of our rare moments of weakness, rach and i had popped over to the jumbo restaurant at quayside point across from clarke quay for dinner. *cough* apart from the fried rice (which was delicious no doubt, just overkill aka too filling) we also had sharks fin, a whole star groupa, and pieces of chicken. can i spell Y-U-M-M-Y? it was really a great dinner... courtesy of *ahem* rach. =x

and that's not yet the end of the excitement either! we had shopped around nearby, over to bugis, and finally (of all places) to mustafa center past 10pm. uh yeah. we /were/ looking out for something. and given that the shopping mall at mustafa opens 24-hours, it's a pretty inviting place, albeit the presence of crowds of non-english-speaking origins. but we didn't spotted what we wanted. so we took a short walk along the main road and we finally found it! a phone shop! well of course we'd located numerous shops before this (bear in mind that it was already close to midnight and most shops are already closed for the day) but this retail shop had on quite a good deal! my darling had begged to give me a new phone (i'd earlier on practically tortured her with contradicting statements of wanting and not wanting the gift) and i'd decided on the Nokia 6280. it was a good bargain i must admit. it came with a free bluetooth headset which was another plus point. it was fantastic! thanks darling!!! xD
