these pics were taken when i went up to sydney with jason last week. just realised i didn't install Hello, but here they are! and this is a dunnowad bird that's with a rather large flock living near the sydney exhibition centre. they pretty much bo chup about the people walking around as if it's their turf. they live up in the palm trees there anyway. and there's a flowing water structure there the humans built. so they've got the water to drink/bath in. even the seagulls are getting in on the act when we walked past them.
