round 3 - judgement day

what it's about: there *is* a small amount of bullshitting. but it is a lethal subject nevertheless. by far the toughest subject i've encountered and may well cause my downfall. well yes i'd always been the negative sort. activities in the exam will involve in general:-

• drawing diagrams (consisting of little boxes, lines and arrows) that solves problems,
  
• writing down why the database system (DBMS for short) does certain responses for certain events,
• writing query language that is supposed to perform certain expected output (tables, tablespaces, triggers etc)
• calculation of cost of execution for certain optimisations
• there's probably more...

today's paper was ok i guess. 40 multiple choice questions weren't exactly a piece of cake. they were mostly tricky nasty ones. we were suppose to select the "most correct" answer of the 4. and then there were 4 short answer questions in the second section. these were TOTALLY identical to our take-home exam we had prior to this actual one. so i practically had a verbal/textual(erh is this used correctly?) diarrhoea, save for the fact that i'd cut things short a bit.

other than that, throughout today, i'd been studiously poring through my assignments and references to revise for tomorrow, with the occasional queries and clarifications next door.

i certainly hope i can make it through tomorrow. i'm afterall an average B student. possibly lower. and after tomorrow, it will be one phase complete. to which i certainly i'd be able to make it through tomorrow. -sigh- somehow i can't see myself enjoying my holidays much... of course then again i'd probably act like everything's fine. my ego online is smaller than in person. but then again i'm not an extraordinarily egotistical pain in the butt. am i?
