MELBOURNE, Australia: Police in Melbourne have seized 18 million dollars (14 million US) worth of the party drug ecstasy a week after announcing a world-record haul of the substance, officials said. Australian Federal Police agents arrested three men and a woman overnight Thursday after finding about 370,000 ecstasy tablets hidden in a shipment of barbecues from the Netherlands, they said.
i mean seriously, how do they know how much is it really worth? they claim it to be this price, but it's as expensive as the black market traders tag them right? surely if the substance was being targetted by the police would the people trying to bring them in not jack the price up! this is so subjective the prices shouldn't really even be announced. it's simply blown up ridiculously...
