so okay, i've just deactivated my facebook account earlier. nobody will be able to search and locate my profile, much less see updates of any sort from me. that said, this is different from complete and utter deletion, in that i'll still be able to return when i decide to.

i wonder how many people will actually notice, and of those who notices, how many will contact me via other channels.

i see it as a challenge to myself, to see how long i can last without facebook. it's kind of like survivor: facebook. besides, i've been feeling out of sorts on and off. maybe it's good to disassociate myself from everything to just sit back and watch the world go by, without you know, watching it go by on facebook. i'm still on twitter, though i'd never been as fond of it anyway.

so yes, i'll pop back into facebook eventually. maybe by then nobody would even notice. it's only day 1.
