Sexual Positions (for the lonely and loveless) + mysterious CTE on-ramp

while searching for clues to a mysterious on-ramp along CTE i actually stumbled on to this. omg.

i can't believe this is happening.

btw i really was searching for any inkling about the on-ramp (based on the question i'd posted on Yahoo Answers) that sits between the Orchard Road exit and Havelock Road exit along the CTE tunnels. why i think it's mysterious is because i've never ever ever seen any vehicles joining the CTE tunnel from that particular on-ramp. AND there is a bold white line along the tunnel making it look as if the on-ramp was never meant to be in use anyway! so feel free to share whatever you know with me on this. curiousity killed that cat, but this is one damn curious hooman.

Singapore Toy and Comic Convention

Interestingly enough, I'd stumbled upon this little gem. It's supposedly the first ever convention for toys and comics in town! Does sound rather tempting. Although I don't seem to have heard much about it so boo to their marketing team.

"Border Patrol for Border Petrol"

interesting sighting

This shot came fresh out of my phone less than an hour ago.

This Audi R8 was parked along the street I live on. Probably visiting somebody around here since I'd never seen it here before. You'd have heard about it by now if that was the case.

FYI, its price range is along the likes of Porsche 911, BMW 6 series, and the Maserati Quattroporte. The price tag (not including COE+++) is known to be at S$497,000.00 unlike being labelled as "POA" (Price on acquisition) as used by the even higher end models. After doing some research it appears that this model does not cost as much as a Ferrari/Lamborghini does after all, as what I'd expected initially. So someone who can afford a BMW 6 series can well afford this little baby. The attention it commands on the road is quite remarkable. I've come to believe that, unless your vehicle is oddly shaped, the conventional equation is, the wider your (non-commercial use) vehicle is, the more attention it will get. Seems to apply rather aptly in this case.

Come On Toshi

Well okay, let me start by disclaiming that the audio file here that I'd extracted from this youtube video may not appeal to everyone. It's intended for humour! Otherwise, simply enjoy.

lesson #200806171133

do not play Quake while doing #2 in the toilet unless you want to get motion sickness.

i think finally i understand why FPS games should be meant for recreational hours after work and don't belong in the toilet on the mobile phone...

if your security has been compromised...

a handful of my friends have had their facebook/msn accounts compromised thus far. this results in url spams being sent from their accounts that includes links to websites that further infect people who click on those links. it's some sort of a social engineering tactic employed by these trojans.

my first advice to them (although i'm not sure yet how effective this can be) is this: change your password. it's sure as hell simplest to do (regardless of the account type) and given the mechanics i'm guessing the virus is built upon, this should stymy the actions available to the intruder.

my best guess for a logical effort of the intruder is to do the following steps:
1) collect and gain access to accounts of strangers through social engineering
2) "spread the word" to acquire the friends of these people
3) the logic should then "phone home" at the first trigger
4) this should notify the intruder of the compromised account login details
5) the login credentials are stored centrally
6) another program then routinely spams via accessing these compromised accounts

that said, it's possible that the above can be stopped (albeit temporarily in certain cases) by simply changing your password, thereby preventing the account from being penetrated again.

sure they could have changed your password, but the intruder would not want to change your password as they rather you not detect that your account has been compromised at all. and doing so might easily alert the authorities if done en masse.

to my dearest rachiepoo...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

here's the game plan for the day. i'm putting this here cos i reckon rach wouldn't be checking in here, to be that likely.

before lunchtime on your birthday, flowers should reach you at your office. they are meant for you to leave in your office to show off to your envious colleagues. i checked out your office address on Monday on the pretext of sending you that allergy medicine i bought from the Unity pharmacy near your office.

also, i'd hope you dress nicely. because after work, i'll be taking you to a restaurant just on the outskirts of the CBD/Orchard area that has received rave reviews much. it's slightly pricey but compared to Equinox and Altivo, i think we'd probably enjoy the food more. its ambience doesn't pale in comparison either, i've read.

taking a short walk after the meal, we will stroll down to a dessert café close by, where your birthday cake will be waiting. your second cake in fact, including the one i just surprised you with after picking you up from the celebration gathering your colleagues had with you. by the size is much bigger. ;)

we can spend the night together after that, considering we've both applied leave from work on Friday. i didn't mean to disappoint you, but it seems you aren't too keen on any of this... i would gladly take you for a ride, in other ways. xD
a) luge + skyride @ Sentosa
b) a ride on the DHL balloon
c) hmm i'm not sure what you think of the Flyer.

nevertheless, i'm sure we can have a good lunch or something. what follows should be a lazy afternoon and a dinner and movie.

something like that. sorry i didn't plan much.

;D

Honda City Cabriolet 2009

Honda's City Cabriolet, first launched in 1984, was definitely one of the first few convertibles to have come from Japan. It featured a manually folded canvas soft-top roof, with technology being somewhat primitive, looking back 2 decades.

Since then, it has evolved into the Fit/Jazz variations without looking back. With the Mitsubishi Colt CZC quietly whisked away, what is left in the arena is the Daihatsu Copen and the ever-popular Mazda MX-5. If "The Power of Dreams" is the calling of Honda, one can only imagine if they'll ever decide to pick up from where they'd left off twenty-four years back and revive the City as a cabriolet flavour.

One thing for sure is, if this baby comes into being, it will certainly attract its own crowd, including the fanboys that would have missed its presence.

PS: Yes, shoddy work on the image, I know.

PPS: If you still can't tell, I'll spell it out for you: I made that thing up on my computer.

my new bumper magnet

a goondu buddy of mine who flew to the States for 3 weeks for a (mostly) business trip, came back with this for me.

very fitting description of me, yes?

YouTube - English Lesson

Hilarious "educational" video for teaching Japanese how to speak English. This is more targeted at the streetwalkers.

It's been circulating the web for a while already, but nevertheless, it made its way here. So for an inside joke, quote "Come on, Toshi!" and the people who've watch this would snicker with you knowingly.

WARNING: Don't watch if you are easily offended. :)
