Chickity China the Chinese chicken

Chickity China the Chinese chicken
You have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin'

i can't get those 2 lines out of my head. all thanks to the radio personalities on 91.3 WKRZ indeed. they introduced that bit of the lyrics from the song to me and it's just another one of those things that annoys yet amuses at the same time. amusement in a "wtf" kind of way...

Steven Talcott Smith::When Non-Programmers Write Software

*cough* okay so this is one of those geeky references. but hey i don't post those much lately... in any case, this fella blogged about people in professions other than IT specifically dabbling in a little programming themselves. i must agree with his point of view. kudos to those people who manages to hack up codes that "just works" for their own uses.

shan, i believe that includes you with your system back at ntu! just a brief mention keke... ^^

Shock Utility :: Shock Aero v1.35 - Desktop Utility [English]

Okay so this is just eye candy. But if it's going to help my WinXP look pretty I guess it's going to do just fine.

The Aero interface that makes everything look spiffy on Windows Vista (not including Home Basic) has been made available for the lesser version from this Korean site.

Can't wait to head home and download this to try out on my system!

Is eBay masking a 1,200 user credit card hack? - TECH.BLORGE.com

do you have an ebay account?

do you have a credit card?

do you have your credit card info with them?

if your answer to all 3 questions above are correct, you probably should be concerned about the validity of this article and the news behind it all...

Hayden Is Ready To Save The World Again | POPSUGAR - Celebrity Gossip & News.

bra business, stressful business and non-business business

been reallly stressful at work cos of some stuff. need to do data patching, program updates, exception situations, more data patching, report generating, verification...

i've been trying to get organised with my stuff IRL so i don't have much time in here of late. my rooms are tidier and cleaner, my computers have more free space, and my laptop just got 1gb more ram!

thanks to rachel for the ram... i'm glad she's around for all my ups and downs.

i believe i've been keeping late nights nowadays. maybe have to get to bed earlier so i can avoid drinking so much coffee at work. and i've started (occasionally) ordering 100-bull from the drinks stalls too... it's a strange mocktail i've picked up from army with the combination of 100-plus and redbull. and voĆla, isotonic and energy drink!

sian lor, end up every night when i get home i'd rather nua in front of the tele and maybe play a game or two in the company of rach.

of aches and cuts

you won't believe what i was up to on last wednesday. the company was promoting healthy lifestyle for us, and given that i was in the committee for this, i joined in. and boy i had no idea what was in store for me! we were kind of promoting this gym package from California Fitness, some sort of a corporate membership. so we wanted to increase headcount in the sign-ups, and what we did was bring them in for a one hour session of workout! and i joined. yes i did! the lady instructor lead us through the routine on the rooftop of our office building (we don't own the WHOLE building btw) while we enjoyed the breeze. but the flipside is... i was the only freaking guy! being too siao on, i bravely went through the whole ordeal with my female colleagues. there were about slightly over 10 of them. and there were a whole bunch of jokers (all my colleagues) who decided to come up and check out the scenery and watch us do the active body combat routines! =.=" so paiseh you know!

i was aching until friday... even as i took a trip down to check out the comex 2007 at suntec. it was pretty huge this year, but i must be really jaded about all this hoo-ha. i mostly walked through the event hall taking brief glances all over the place. the offers seem attractive this year, although i wasn't on the market for anything in particular. i'd only bought a bundled package of ink cartridges which were a few dollars cheaper. the crowd was the usual - jam packed. fortunately they decided to widen up the paths between the exhibition booths.

oh yes and i went to the hair salon with rachel yesterday. our afternoon was mostly spent there. we felt so sleepy and comfortable as they washed our hair! i think the salon is called klearcut, and it's situated in serangoon garden. a short drive from my home. so apparently my hair looks better now, despite i think rach would have much preferred it dyed so my hairstyle will be more prominent. no matter, as long it feels more comfortable now.

time flies don't you think? in just a few days' time, shan is going to fly for scotland! and we'll not be seeing her for some time until a few years down the road wor... but think about it, if we want to buy anything from UK now we've got a mailing address! hehehe... =x must study hard hor shan!
