this will just simply bore your socks off.
seriously.
i'm just planning for own sake/information.
i'd been considering running routes around my area. i took a short detour coming home just now and looking at google maps i suppose i might have spotted two good running routes! i did some rough measurements on google maps just, but i'll measure again when i can drive around the block. the first route i saw was around a cluster of hdb blocks nearby. less likely to get traffic if i can run on the pedestrian pavement right? i figure that route is about 2km or less (from driving around it partially) and then i did an estimation to notice that in fact the cluster surrounding my home (aka pavement with no major road arteries) is about 1.2km... this means i can aim to run around the block twice and it'd be just about right for 2.4km! i'll confirm the distance again when i can. i'm aiming to be able to run home from work in future. 4.5km isn't a short distance to run home on so i can probably do with a variety of routes to run on a shorter path before hitting that far. i might sound crazy but i'm not ruling out the possibility of waking up earlier and doing the brief run before going to work. seems like fun. sadistic yes. but seems fun nevertheless.
it may seem like i'm doing all this planning but never really getting down to the actual running. but i guess it's good to be well-prepared beforehand. hope i'll execute this in the short term...
i realise the biorhythms of people around me are kinda down recently. is it the weather? some cosmic rays? a solar storm? movements of the teutonic plates? i wonder why... hope their biorhythms pick up soon enough! i know it doesn't feel good to be simply down. but if you never have felt sadness before, how then would you know what happiness is right? xD
*pat pat*
