gahhhh!!!

i shan't mention work. it's hectic.

i came home at like 7 after work, and almost immediately after my dinner, i started my search. i was trying to dig something that has been out of sight for the past 1.5 years already. something that was from my army daze days. something that cannot be bought outside easily. just what was this thing i was looking for?

a badge. a freaking badge that goes on the no. 4 shirt above my left breast pocket. it was crazy i'm telling you! i'd been trying to find it for the past 2 days to no avail!

so i was continuing my search after my meal. i searched high and low, and high and low for it, but i couldn't find it. then i suspected that if i can find the new army black duffel bag i brought back from camp i might just find it. but that one heck of a large suitcase with wheels was nowhere to be found!!! goodness. such a huge bag and we couldn't find it. must have been blind somehow. my mum jumped in on the act, and so did my dad (who promptly gave up quickly to watch his tele) and still nothing was found.

then i saw our maid so i just thought i'd ask her. why yes! she did see the bag i described! so where was it? in her room (aka the store room). -_-" and who asked her to keep it there (up in the storage shelves)? my dad. who couldn't recall a thing about it. and why did i not spot the bag despite searching there more than once? i was looking out for a black bag. but it was wrapped in a white plastic bag. *pulls hair*

ok so i dug the bag out, and with it, was another smaller bag. yes! this smaller bag had the stuff i was looking (and not looking) for that's all related to my ns stuff! and of course it had my badge too! yay!!! at long bloody last it was found! and by now... i'm already sweaty, hot and flustered, and actually tired from running up and down in my quest for the missing badge. i guess the dinner i just had would probably have been used up as energy. or something like that.

i'm pretty sure my siblings who were seated in the living room watching the tele were probably wondering if i'd gone mad, searching for something that doesn't exist, until i finally manage to find that item of course... -sigh- at least i'm finally done finding! can rest easier tonight...
