
here's how the complete model looks like, placed in front of the box it originally came in! i must admit this had been the largest model i've assembled ever. with plentiful instructions to boot. but our combined effort was worth it to check out all the cool added features of gull-wing doors that can be opened 45-deg up-forwards, rear hood that can be opened for a clearer view of the engine block (that has moving pistons when the rear wheels rotate) and even the front wheels can be steered with an attached steering column! massive undertaking it has been! i figured we probably took about 8 hours to complete (4 hours a day), about 2-4 hours faster than the estimated time i quoted from rachel on how long it'd take (think her source was probably the sales)... but i still can't imagine expecting a 10-year-old to finish building this at all... >_>
