remember about my hammering n stuff yesterday? well, my parents have since cleaned up the small room (to which i'd estimate is a rough 3m by 3m square on the inside) and discarded some junk we no longer need. and then we shifted the maid's bed in. yup, she's gonna sleep there from tonight onwards. the bed barely fitted in, so yes our maid has been relocated from our guest room (which is probably at least 4 times the size of this one i'm sure) into the room in the back. tsk tsk... and what did my parents say they wanted the guest room to be used for? in preparation of unforeseen mahjong sessions. >_> gosh. i haven't seen them play mahjong before in my whole life. so anyway, the maid couldn't possibly have any objections as to what my dad justified as how she's having it better than other maids because she'd already stayed in that large room by herself for so long.
and along with the clearing out of the junk, i found old toys of ours! hidden in that room was a carrom board with a complete set of playing pieces, and a mini pool table. no it's not the kind that is the size of a laptop. this one we had since i was young has the size of possibly half a writing table. yes it's at least a metre long, made of metal, with a felt layering on it, and also comes with a complete set of 10 pool balls and 2 wooden cues. oh and don't forget the triangle jig. gosh those were the days...
*screw him. no wait, screw me. *
