i had less than 5 hours' sleep today. i woke before the sun came up! just after 6am! no thanks to an annoying mosquito... my aircon is usually set by me to switch off few hours before i wake. so it was shortly after my aircon had turned itself off, did the mozzie came uninvited. i'll bet it's been long residing in my room. this isn't the first time i had an encounter with it... -sigh- so i gave up sleeping (thinking it was 7am!) and proceeded to turn on all the lights in the room. i even armed myself with insecticide. alas, after 45mins or so of battle, i couldn't get my hands on that little bugger. and by then, i was all worked up and without a hint of sleepiness anymore. i gave up, doused the room in insecticide and headed downstairs to look for food. at least there was breakfast. but this was a really rare day in which i woke early morning.
and also, thanks to the insecticide i'd used, i had the drip the rest of the day. real unfortunate. i felt a bit high while i chauffeured my parents (plus that little nephew of mine) to the hospital. my dad managed to convince my mum to go have her eyes checked on account of her age and him just having seen the specialist. we'd booked the appointment for her in the morning (i woke up early, remember?)... and given not much choice, we brought ryan along. at least he was /relatively/ well-behaved. his performance was probably an eight of ten for his age. and given that the location was a hospital eye clinic. she's fine, with a bit of short-sightedness and then some. better than my dad at least.
i managed to get some shut eye after coming home from the hospital. that certainly helped with the flu pill i took. the drips lessened after my afternoon nap.
i'm working on a bit of self-education now... no point saying what i'm picking up yet since it's just a "hobby" of sorts.
*we can do it! let's face it together!*
