what's wrong...?

my grandma passed away, subsequently i learnt from the people around me that somebody they know passed away just these few days ago too. it appears to me there's a lot of death going around town these days. what's going on man?

oh and i didn't quite notice this new feature with blogger. uh well yeah you probably won't notice it either if you read my blog. so there's this new feature, they call it "Flag (this blog)". it seems blogger want us to help them. in exchange for free space to pour out our thoughts, they'll appreciate us helping them by bringing to their attention, blogs that are of questionable content. what do they mean by questionable? i won't think they'd see a couple of opposition party voicing out their grievances as questionable. probably something like spammers and advertisers. you won't notice them unless you blogsurf. when you do happen to blogsurf(meaning you click on that "next blog" button at the top of each blogger page), you'll often come across these blogs with content that hardly make any sense! then you'll be asking yourself if you had stumbled upon a parallel dimension. then you realise the content is spam material, or it is aimed at causing certain websites to show up at more prominent locations when people search for a particular keyword in google. well at least that's what i figure they are used for.

speaking of spammers, have they not figured it out by now? i mean, spammers sell products. but why do these products persist to send out spam??? any commercial business would easily put two and two together to figure out spamming would give the consumers a freaking negative image of your company, and hence lowering sales wouldn't it?! how do they (the product makers, not spammers) expect to earn anything that way? in the words of Agent Smith from The Matrix,
"Why?! WHY do you PERSIST?!"

hopefully i'm completing this annoying report/proposal. the details given to us for it is rather shady and jason isn't the least happy with what the lecturer had been replying in his emails. i'm clueless too. but i'll just do what i think is appropriate. seriously. i doubt the lecturer would go through every single one of the reports we all submitted. that's too much work. it doesn't add up at all! unless his ballsless tutors are assigned to do the dirty deed and comparing the documents with a checklist. *shrugs* we shall see.

anybody familiar with C programming? not C++. C. i've got not a clue how to get started on this assignment. it's due next monday (after the proposal bullshit) and i'm wondering how to start on it. at least i figure i'll settle this nonsense first... at least i know where i'm headed. and i think i'm finishing soon.
