- "antique" was pronounced as an-tick-cue - no matter how my siblings tried correcting me, i insisted it was said that way...
- "minus" was pronounced meen-ooz - i think i missed out on this because i went to the little boys' room when math class started. and i believe i came back asking everyone "hey what's that meen-ooz thing about?"
- i used to believe fillet (as in fillet o' fish, fillet mignon etc) only referred to fish meat, as in the boneless whitemeat you only get from fish.
- *ahem* you may wish to skip this point. i used to think that little boys and girls all have the same organ for peeing, which as far as i knew in existence was the penis (eew ladyboys!). and there i was wondering how humans do that thing called "sex". i was having a total misconception! HAHAHA... so much for sex education. fact is i don't think i ever got any! darn secondary school practically skipped that chapter.
- 血 - i'll have you believe i only recalled it being pronounced as "xue" and was hardly aware of the other pronounciation "xie". Silk proved me wrong on that point. hahaha
i guess jason is right. i'm one of the apathetic lot. oh the humanity~ "where did the good people goOoOooo... oh oh..."
