yeah it does. involves my dear friend jason. on account of us heading down under next feb for studie together, our parents met to have a short chat. they wanted to get to know each other lest either of us disappeared or misbehaved over there. =_= that's all fine and dandy. we had lunch.
all 9.5 of us. uh... lets recount who tagged along. jason had his mum and dad. i had my mum n dad. and sis... and brother... n sis-in-law... with ryan aka my nephew(he's the .5 of the headcount :P ). we're all cantonese. easier for my parents. they barely understand english, you see. and the so-called purpose for my family to be in full attendance is we're out for a family lunch. rare, in fact, for all of us present on a weekend. heh... ryan was the ice-breaker. why do you think we brought my bro+sis-in-law along? :P and my sis, well her guy's at work. so ladida.
we had the normal stuff, cold dish, sharks fin, abalone, noodles, fish blahblah... yum yum Ban Heng Blk 2 #01-02 Boon Keng Rd. pls check it out if you wish to have a *simple* dinner. it's not a very huge place. it's in bendemeer. typical chinese restaurant.
don't laugh pls... it's abt my nephew. isit in the genes? there was a waitress at the restaurant. she doesn't look that pretty but she had makeup on. and my nephew had his eyes on her all the time we were eating there! XD kept calling "Jie jie!" so loudly. tsk. the lady also paiseh. erm i guess she's at least 30? the floor manager serving us who was a guy didn't get as much attention from my dear nephew. he just gawked at the man serving us the dishes shyly.
oh and erm lastly, sorry to say, i haven't been to visit my grandma at Alexandra Hospital yet. maybe i'll find time for it tomorrow.
*oh how i wish i was a popular person!*
