hooray... i'm basically done with what work i have at hand. i think. i'll need to get back to my superior next week to see if i can get anymore work. i think i'd been damn slow at producing work for her.he wasn't much of a chef. he didn't know how to cook. but he spent over half an hour in the boiler room of a kitchen. what was he doing in there? he was preparing some food. the ham was being warmed up in the microwave oven. the chicken cordon bleu were in the conventional oven. it was hard work for him to monitor both ovens simultaneously. eventually, having spent over half an hour in the tiny kitchen and sweaty by now, he took a whiff of the crispy and hot chicken delicacies, that was frozen just moments ago. out came an insulated carrier. the piping hot food were placed inside the carrier to keep them warm. he also packed along a pair of forks and glasses. taking a glance at the clock, there wasn't much time. he rushed to get everything ready and put them in the boot of his car. he had to take a shower before he leaves. it was too sweaty and uncomfortable otherwise.
after picking her up, they headed for a shopping mall. they both needed to
buy some stuff. after the brief shopping spree, the pair left the mall in his
car. they were on their way to a special place to spend the evening. the place
was isolated, but not deserted.
when they reached the location, they found it slightly more crowded than usual. but they managed to find a spot. out came the picnic mat, out came the food, and out came the sparkling grape juice too. they were going to have a picnic, by the waterfront. they didn't need candles as the place was illuminated by the city lights. as they ate the simple food he had prepared, they saw the bright moon in the sky, without a single drifting cloud in sight. the two chatted happily as they ate and basked in the moonlight, and enjoyed the mirage of lights coming from the city skyline. they cuddled for a while. and they drank the sparkling juice poured from its bottle. the evening was lovely.
after spending well over 2hours at their little night time picnic, the two decided it was time to leave. sadly, he sent her home, and went home himself, too. alas, all good things must come to an end. but it was a good evening.
it could have been.
*小姐 excuse me, but are you my "her"? 我的不见了.*
