so there i was, all groggy and jus woken up. i flipped thru some old stuff behind the door in my tv room and after a great length of calculations, relative to the movement of the solar system and alignment of the planets and constellations as well as my biorhythmic flow in connection with the ocean tides, i decided today was a good day to clear away some of the stuff there. what stuff? i filtered out one whole set of computer equipment.
- monitor(display connection problem),
- keyboards(x2),
- mouses(4 of them!) ,
- CPU system
- NICs (erh i decided to keep both of them)
- SoundBlaster 16 sound cards(x2)
- VGA card (keep)
- mainboard(x3, a 386, 486, pentium 166Mhz)
- HDD (x2, 1gig and 4.3gig)
- floppy drive
- 4x CD-Rom drive
- HP Scanner+SCSI card
- a pair of speakers
well yeah that was pretty much it. i kept some more stuff. just because. :)
so i'm setting aside those stuff that i intend to discard and let the rag-and-bone man come along one day and sell it to him cheaply just to get rid of them. as for the remaining stuff, ask me nicely and i might give it to you at a very low price. and if you are quick enough, and want something that i wanna throw away, tell me and let me retrieve the item back for you.
so when i was done with that, i went on to update my notebook. uh. my laptop. whatever. update the OS and stuff inside, install stuff, clear out stuff. i'm gonna bring it to australia. run as server at my home there. yes i know. the battery isn't working so i'll run it on AC. hey it still works k? so i did some housekeeping. physical and digital. proud of that! hehe...
oh yeah housekeeping... that brings me to that title of this post. i wrote my own script for my irc client. i did it just so i can customise anything i do as a channel op. so i did more housekeeping and streamlined this and that as well! and i adjusted that little script that kicks drones. now i'd put it inside its own .mrc file with all the aliases and popup scripts in there too! maybe if you want you can ask from me to get it. nothing fancy, just a simple script that works.
and tomorrow, i'll try and head down to SATA to have a medical checkup. For my visa application to aussie. did you know the BLOODY student visa application costs close to SGD510?! damn ex... $_$ why SATA? they charge close to 50% of the prices of Orchard Road clinics recognised by the Australian High Commision. i applied my visa here. apparently i have to travel 2x. Day 1 for medical checkups, Day 2 for xray. :\ oh well... some things just needs to be done regardless.
