ooh i'm still slightly upset about the accident. no worries. i'll get over it soon, i hope. not much mood to do anything but stay home i guess. i'll be heading for another checkup at 11am. so due to the shortage of private transport now, i'll have to head off early and probably mingle with the train crowd.
i've been busy tending to my songs. i listen to them for a living remember? incredibly i manage to churn 3hrs worth of work in 1.5hrs. i'm so talented in this i tell you. being a TRANSCRIBER is no mean feat i tell u. you gotta have nerves(and ears) of steel! I started off with Agnetha Faltskog, then FIR, now Ocean Ou De Yang. when i'm done i'll move to Zhou Chuan Xiong. hehehe when i'm done with this bunch i'll get more new stuff and play.
oh hrmm did i mention my dad and bro came down to pick me up from the accident? to pick up from where i left off the other time - now that i'm feeling better about it - they came to rescue me and transferred the valuables over to the other car, and we waited for the towing. we subsequently tagged along behind the towing to the Sin Ming IDAC. They had a ugly (ok not that bad but below average) girl(i estimate her age below 20) in a polo and a short skirt working there with the 2-3 other guys. ooh short skirt. i did try my best to ignore her or stare at her. i think i did pretty well in controlling myself from gawking at her short skirt. V^_^ then we decided to claim insurance and i filled up the form which took ages cos i wasn't that familiar and many details didn't need to be filled cos there wasn't a 2nd party involved so i was looking up n down for parts that really needed to be filled up.
they said originally such assessments take up to 6mths to settle before we get our car back. now with the IDAC - Independent Damage Assessment Centre set up, we can get everything settled in 2wks. i dunno why my friend's dad was able to get a temp loan car from NTUC Income, when my family couldn't. maybe it's a different insurance plan... oh well... kinda feel crippled and bruised ego for now. hahaha... yes i know i've reached the stage when the car has turned from luxury to necessity.
die! you egomaniac! *stabs self*
did you know, nowadays insurance agents are no longer called Insurance Agents? they reinvented themselves as Financial Advisors. Financial Advisors are NOT insurance agents. they say. they don't ask you to buy their insurance plans. they MAP your money advancement and financial investments for you. they are doing you a favor! and you hand them your money for that. i received a call asking me to attend a job interview thingy few weeks ago. they called my home asking for me. well they asked for Mr [insert family name here] easily. my mum was anxious for me to find a job so hearing that they are offering me a job she passed the lady my phone number. i received the call, heard the magic words "Financial Advisor" and "would you like to come down for an interview" of course i was happy that i got an interview. but, wait a min i never applied for anything like that. it's waaaaaaay out of my field. so no thank you. i declined politely and hung up. i realised when i reached home that it was my mum that passed them my number. oh well.
now repeat after me. "financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent. financial advisor equals insurance agent."
now gargle three times and close your eyes thinking about the last dead animal you've seen. there. you are now rid of the pesky individuals.
be well.
