another new toy!

i just procured a brand new notebook pc. i got it online. with help from my brother. direct from manufacturer. quite value for money. here're the specs:

k la guess the only gripe i have with the config are the 40Gigs harddisk and the 32MB gfx card. everything else is acceptable.

and anyway i just placed the order like 2hrs ago. delivery won't be too soon.

and oh yes. come morning i'll have a job interview. nothing fancy. just a temp job recommended by my relative. transcriber. it's with the i²r agency. supposedly the job scope includes me listening to speech data files of sorts, and write/type out what is heard. sounds simple enough. but i've got no idea why the email requested me to bring along my certs tomorrow. and supposedly i can quit anytime too.

and i sent an email to this kindergarten thanks to somebody's recommendation. but no reply yet. it's nearer to home so of course i'd want to get this job more. and it's some sort of admin asst cum web maintenance... but no reply yet. prob i'll call them when daylight comes to find out more.

and yes the countdown has reached. come thursday, i'll get blinded in one eye, followed by the other eye on friday. i'll have a huge laser pointing into my eye and blasting away while i groan in agony tied up on the bed of nails at a torture chamber in the depths of tan tock seng. yes didn't you know?! they have a dungeon in there somewhere! that's where they keep their minions of zombies of the undead they reclaimed from their morgue! and that's where i'm headed.

i'll let you guys know if i'm blinded for better or for worse. call the cops if i don't type anything on thursday.
